Casting Harriet?

I decided Elisabeth Shue would be a great Harriet.  She’s a little out of the age range but she looks fabulous so who cares?  She can play eccentric (The Saint) and I have to admit I love her in Cocktail, to date the only Tom Cruise movie I can stand apart from Far and Away.  She has the needed earthy and artistic quality and she can act your socks off.

I can’t remember if it says in the book, but I somehow imagined Harriet with shorter hair and more red. Either way, I like the rest of her look very much. 🙂

i think she could definitely pull of the chopsticks-coming-out-of-the-hair artistic look i imagine harriet having.

innocent in her youth and gentle and caring ,,
